About Lexie

I am a Knoxville and Chattanooga based wedding, lifestyle, and portrait photographer but I travel wherever you are. I capture couples and families in their natural environment surrounded with timeless photography.

I value meaningful relationships, and not only the relationship between me and my client. I value the connection between a couple that is new in their relationship or a bride and groom.

The most important part of what I do is allowing timeless moments to unfold without too much guidance. My mission as your photographer is to capture the feelings of your day while allowing you to relax and take in your special day.

What I love Most:

My wedding photography journey began in high school with my father. When I was a freshman in high school there was a snow storm that came through my hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee and I was out of school because of it.

I had always been interested in photography from watching my dad use his camera for weddings, high school football games, and family portraits and I was curious to learn how it worked. When this snow storm struck our city in 2010, I finally had my opportunity to get my hands on a camera through a competition with my dad on who could take the better picture.

Since this snow day, I've loved photography ever since and started a photography business in 2016 when I was taking pictures for college graduates at the University of Tennessee.

I am forever thankful to my father who let me tag along on to so many of his photoshoots (and yes, I won the snow competition in case you were wondering).

MY JOURNEY BEGAN WHEN...

You might know how it feels to start a new chapter in life. Taking a leap of faith into something that you have no idea will work or not is really scary.

I made the decision in August of 2020 to pursue my photography business full time. I was focusing on high school seniors and felt like this was where God was leading me to focus my time and energy, and He continues to bless me through this business.

After teaming up with other wedding photographers and meeting so many talented artists in the wedding industry, I realized that I was missing out on a huge part of my business and I have now added weddings to my portfolio.

While I've been taking pictures of weddings as a second shooter with my father since 2010, I am excited to pursue so many incredible love stories and capture them in a way that makes you excited to pass down your memories for years to come.

But It wasn't always easy...

Meeting all of my wonderful clients has been the most fulfilling part of my business. There are so many people with incredible stories to share and I am so thankful when each clients approaches me to ask me to share their story.

When you choose a wedding photographer, I hope you choose someone that values you and your love story. When I married my incredible husband in 2020, I am forever thankful for our incredible wedding photographers who are actually my sorority sisters! It wasn't the beautiful photos that meant the most to us, it was how they captured our love story and our friends and family that surrounded us on our special day.

You see, to me you are more than just a way to pay my mortgage, you are a friend for life. You are someone that I have become invested in and want to see your love story blossom and grow and I am so thankful when my clients allow me to be a part of their journey.

Meeting all of you...
